Welcome to South Coastal Women’s Health Services (SCWHS), a not-for-profit, non-government, community based organisation operated by women for women and their families. SCWHS is dedicated to promoting the health and wellbeing of women and their families living in the coastal region south of Perth; this includes the City of Rockingham, Town of Kwinana, the City of Mandurah and the wider Peel region.
The service was established in 1989 by Jan Thair, a local woman working towards improving service provision to the Rockingham community and was initially called Rockingham Women's Health and Information Referral Association Inc.
SCWHS is situated in the LifeLinks Community Centre (LLCC) in Civic Boulevard, Rockingham (next to Lotteries House) and offers a range of supports and services including women’s health clinics, family planning services, and counselling and support groups.
