ISHAR Multicultural Centre for Women's Health provides a safe and culturally appropriate environment for women who would otherwise find it difficult to access local services by ensuring that women from all cultures and languages are provided with information about health issues and appropriate services. Services are delivered in flexible ways through outreach and in-house group work and individual counselling, advice, mediation, advocacy and referral services. It has a multi-skilled professional staff and contracted Bilingual Community Educators.

It is primarily funded by the State through the Commonwealth National Women's Health Program.
